This policy explains what personal data we collect on www.loic-le-ribault.org, why we use it, how long we keep it and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller
Silicium España Laboratorios, S.L., B74215559, Carrer de Vilafortuny 23, nave 10, 43480 Vila-seca (Tarragona), España. Email: help@silicium.com. Telephone: +34 877 449 948.
2. What data we process and why
Contact form
Data: name, email address and the content of your message. Purpose: to deal with your inquiry and reply to you. Legal basis: your consent when sending the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive (Article 6(1)(f)). Retention: as long as needed to reply and then for up to one year to document the follow-up, unless the inquiry leads to a relationship requiring longer retention.
Newsletter
Data: email address. Purpose: to send you information about new editions, archive documents and activities related to the work of Loïc Le Ribault and to Silicium Editions. Legal basis: your consent when subscribing (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every message or by writing to help@silicium.com. Retention: for as long as you remain subscribed; after unsubscribing, your address is kept on a suppression list solely so that we do not write to you again.
Browsing data
The server hosting the site automatically records technical data for each connection (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) for the sole purpose of ensuring the security and operation of the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a maximum of twelve months. This site uses no audience-measurement tools and no advertising profiling; see the Cookie Policy.
3. Recipients
We do not disclose your data to third parties except where required by law. To provide the service we use providers acting as processors under contracts that guarantee confidentiality and GDPR compliance: the site’s hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States), certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and bound by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses) and, for the newsletter, the email delivery service provider (an email delivery provider offering GDPR-compliant guarantees).
The site’s typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts servers (Google Ireland Ltd.), which means Google receives your device’s IP address when the page loads. According to its documentation, Google Fonts sets no cookies and does not combine this information with other data.
4. International transfers
Where any of our providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the standard contractual clauses approved by it.
5. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to help@silicium.com or by post to the controller’s address, marked “Data protection” and enclosing proof of identity. We reply within one month.
If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
6. Minors
The forms on this site are intended for people over 14. If you become aware that a child under 14 has given us data without authorization, please write to us so that we can delete it.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, including encrypted communications (HTTPS) and restricted access to data received through the forms.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
